After School Musical Theatre - Session 2

Session 2 will consist of auditions and rehearsals that will begin in January for a one-act musical that will be performed in May. This year, we will be producing the show Once on This Island, Jr.
The registration fee for session 2 includes a one-time additional show fee of $25 to help pay for royalties and costuming.
Students will continue to study the foundations of musical theatre performance.
They will learn acting through improvisation, voice and diction, physicalization, audition techniques, and character development. They will also study choreography and dance styles for Musical Theatre.
In addition, students will learn proper vocal techniques and storytelling through song.
There will also be opportunities for students to learn aspects of technical theatre.
Session 2 classes will run January 6-June 15, culminating in a performance of a one-act play.
Students will be charged a monthly fee for a 90-minute class each week.
Student Company
with Jenni Caruso
This is a audition only student company for homeschooled students. This group is for more advanced Musical Theatre students. Students will refine their skills in singing acting and dancing with the class culminating in the musical Elephant and Piggie: We are in a Play!
The musical will take place in April and the students will also tour this production during the months of April and May.
Class registration includes a one time fee of $25 to offset the cost of costumes and production rights.
Homeschool Musical Theatre - Session 2
